PROGRAM AND ORGANIZATION As previous Seminars of Innovation in Primary Care1 the meeting starts two weeks in advance of the face-to-face workshop. The synthesis of the presentations with a few questions will circulate in between future audience, who obtain “the right” to be in the workshop by participating in the online debate. The topic of this Seminar is “quaternary prevention” (actions to avoid harm by medical activities) (see also2).

Fifteen minutes, “Quaternary prevention, and health costs”. –Gustavo Gusso, Family Physician. Primary Health Care, Clinical Medicine Department, University of São Paulo, Brazil. President of Brazilian Society of Family and Community Medicine (SBMFC). Fifteen minutes, “Teaching quaternary prevention to students and residents”. –Vicente Ortún. Health Economist. Department of Economy and Management, University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. Fifteen minutes, “Quaternary prevention and equity”. –Juan Gérvas. General Practitioner. Department of International Health, School of Public Health, Madrid, Spain. Fifteen minutes, “Quaternary prevention and health policy”.
The face-to-face workshop have two hours presentation by speakers and four hours of informal debate with the audience. The outcome of the Seminars should be a peer-review publication with the synthesis of the presentations and the debate. Languages in writing and speaking, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish (no simultaneous translation, but friendly one; we have previous experience in it). Informal activities: dinner Saturday 1st October and lunch Sunday 2nd October, at the expenses of the participants (dancing could be a possibility Saturday night).
